Zorra Skating Club members look forward to performing in carnival.
ZORRA - Wishes will come true at the Embro Arena as the Zorra Skating Club puts on their Carnival.
This year's show is called Once Upon A Wishing Star and Assistant Coach Marcia Coull says there is a real sense of whimsy to the performance.
"For the very young children there will be lots to keep them amused, and for the older generation, the grandparents, there will be a few surprise music numbers that will definitely take them down memory lane."
Fans of figure skating will get to see some new, upcoming stars as well as well seasoned skaters.
"All the members of our skating club will be participating in the carnival. Our skaters range from as young as 2 years old, and I believe our oldest one is 26. We have about 95 skaters in the club."
It's happening at the Embro Arena on March 12. The first performance is at 2 p.m. followed by a second showing at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $8 ahead of time for adults or $4 for kids. The price increases at the door to $10 for adults and $5 for kids.
