UPDATE (Thursday @ 5:50 a.m.) - Environment Canada has issued a flash freeze warning for Oxford County.
It says the temperature should drop to minus 5 this morning, which should cause all of the ponding water and slush to freeze. This will result in slippery conditions throughout the county.
The special weather statement also remains in effect. Environment Canada is predicting 5 centimetres of snow today along with 70 kilometre per hour wind gusts. This will lead to blowing now and poor visability on the roads, but the conditions should start to improve this evening.

OXFORD COUNTY - We're about to get lots of rain in the Friendly City.
Environment Canada says we could get anywhere between 15 to 25 milimetres starting tonight and continuing through tomorrow.
There's a risk of severe thunderstorms for tomorrow afternoon and evening as well.
The milder temperatures should also cause the snow to melt. This means we could see quite a bit of water pooling on the roads because the ground is still frozen and unable to soak it up.
A special weather statement is in effect for Oxford County. The Grand River Conservation Authority has also issued a flood watch for its watershed.
