UPDATE: One person has been taken into police custody after yesterday's fatal hit and run crash on 15th Line, north of Thamesford.
UPDATE 2: One person has been taken into Oxford OPP custody. It's unclear if any charges have been laid at this time.
Police had closed 15th Line between Road 74 and McCarty Street for about eight hours yesterday, but the road has since reopened.

THAMESFORD - One person has been rushed to the hospital with life threatening injuries after a crash near Thamesford this afternoon.
Police and EMS rushed to the 15th Line, north of Thamesford just after noon. Few other details are being released at this time.
The road is closed between Road 74 and McCarty Street. Police are asking motorists to avoid the area.
