UPDATE (12:54PM): The 401 has now re-opened. A serious collision on the 401 has forced the OPP to close the eastbound lanes this morning. According to police, a multi vehicle collision happened just before 6AM, east of the Drumbo Road cut-off (Oxford Road 29). Police say six vehicles and one transport truck were involved in the crash. Four people had to be transported to the Woodstock hospital with one person being listed in critical condition. Police have closed the eastbound lanes at Highway 2 to conduct their investigation and say the closure will more than likely be in effect for 2-3 hours. Motorists are advised to use the designated EDR's through the areas.
