The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation will be giving stronger support to communities that host an OLG gaming facility. That means the Woodstock Raceway will earn an even higher revenue payment for the city. From July to September alone, the city saw a payment of close to $350-thousand. The facility will see more jobs and stronger community support as the industry modernizes. Stronger charity support will also be seen as the province allocates $120-million through the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
