Santa Ron's Christmas In July

Proceeds from Thursday's event will go towards the endowment fund for the Children Aid Society of Oxford County.

WOODSTOCK - It's Christmas in July at Boston Pizza in Woodstock this Thursday night.

Santa Ron will be coming to the local restaurant to put some in some work. The restaurant will be hosting the fundraiser this Thursday night. 

He says there's things for kids and the whole family to enjoy.

"They're doing Christmas in July at Boston Pizza and we're going to be helping serve and cleaning up and Santa's going to be there for pictures with kids with his Caribbean backdrop."

He says the backdrop will have a beach and sand, along with beach balls. Kids and parents can also take a picture with him.

He says a portion of the proceeds will go towards the endowment fund for the Children Aid Society of Oxford County.

"It's a great cause because some of our money goes to kids that are going on to post-secondary education for bursaries. And also for kids camps, the kids that go out on one week camps, last year we sent 66 kids to camp. So, I'm not sure how many we are sending this year so far but the number is really up there."

The event will go from 5:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. If you want to make a donation towards the endowment fund, more information can be found here.
