Tillsonburg Councillor Chris Rosehart will re-offer for Tillsonburg Town Council in the 2014 municipal election.
Tillsonburg Town Councillor Chris Rosehart is re-offering for a seat on council in the 2014 municipal election.
Rosehart says she's running on what brought her the second highest vote totals among council in the 2010 election, and that's her accessibility to residents who have concerns.
"I feel that I can serve my community and my people, that I'm open, I'm available any time, I'm right at my store, so people come and talk to me."
Rosehart filed to re-run at the end of April and says she's been a life long resident to the area.
"I feel there are things the town has given me over the years. I've raised my family in this town and the town has been very supportive to me and I love giving back to the town and the community and I love making sure it's going to benefit the whole community."
Rosehart always maintains that the best way to reach her on issues facing Tillsonburg is simply by dropping into her business, Chrissy's Corner Store, which has been in operation for more than 28 years.
"My work life consists of running my business and being out in the community and sitting on committees."
Some of that work has been sitting on town's Trails Committee, Cemetery Committee and volunteer work with the Tillsonburg Food Bank in addition to serving on Tillsonburg's Non-Profit Housing Board.
