Police respond to 2 men fighting on 401 after getting out of their cars
A frustrated OPP Sergeant is appealing for drivers to avoid road rage, after an incident on the 401 near Leslie late Tuesday afternoon.
Drivers used their cell phones to record two men, who got out of their cars, and began fighting, and rolling on the ground.
Police got there after the drivers left, but eventually found one of them.
OPP Sergeant Kerry Schmidt adds they issued a warning to the driver. "It should never be happening. I don't know what it was that lead to this kind of escalation. People may have a short fuse, but it could turn violent, it could turn deadly."
He adds you just don't know what could happen.
"It's really not worth it. You wasted more time fighting than being stuck behind one car length if you got cut off. I don't know what happened. Please, if you're going to get hot under the collar, please don't turn it into physical actions," he says.
