Bookworms between the ages of 12 and 18 can now sign up for the Oxford County Library's Teen Book Box Program.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County Library bringing back a popular program for young bookworms.
Outreach and Team Librarian Meagan Brennan tells us all about the Teen Box Box Program.
"The Teen Book Box program has been around for just under three years now. It really started during the pandemic, when we weren't able to run in-person teen programs at the library. It has been such a success that we are just continuing on with it."
Brennan says Oxford County residents between 12 and 18 years old who have a library card are eligible for the program.
She adds the books that are chosen are newer but are not to keep.
"These are just like any other library book, you are borrowing it and it will be due back. We try to give you a few extra weeks to enjoy the book in the box, but you do have to bring that book back.
Anyone interested in registering for the program can visit the Oxford County Library website and fill out the form. This form also allows the Library to get the information that is needed to pick the perfect book for the box. You have until Friday, September 22nd to get your form filled out.
