Record Setting Trivia Night

27 teams signed up this year for the Woodstock BBBS Trivia Night and the event raised $5,500 for the community.

WOODSTOCK - It was a record setting night at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Woodstock and Districts Trivia Night.

27 teams signed up this year and the event raised $5,500 for the community. Interim Executive Director Kristen Ralph tells Heart FM what that money will go towards.

"All the money that was raised stays in Woodstock and District and it goes directly into our mentoring programs, so providing adult mentors with children and youth who need an extra stable positive adult in their life."

She says the night as a whole has really taken off over the years. The previous high for the event was 21 teams and they blew that out of the water with a record setting 27 teams this year.

"It's really taken off, it's a fun event, very casual, we have 10 rounds with 10 questions, they run the gamut of all sorts of different genres, people just come out, have some fun with their friends, enjoy a chili dinner and really just have a great time."
