Ingersoll versus Woodstock - it's the battle of the moustaches for a good cause.

The challenge has been issued to see who can grow the best 'stache in Oxford County. 

Woodstock Mayor Trevor Birtch and Ingersoll Mayor Ted Comiskey are both taking part in Movember this year to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer. They have issued a friendly challenge to see who can raise the most money and grow the best stache. Comiskey tells Heart FM he thinks he has the edge in this department. 

"Have you seen his face he has a baby face (laughs) This should start some action - he's got a baby face. I can't see how he is going to grow a good moustache, but hey that's good I challenge him on that one. I mean mine might come in spotty and grey but gosh I'm waiting to see and I'll challenge him on this one." 

Comiskey says all kidding aside this is a very serious issue and they are hopeful they can raise money and awareness for this great cause. 

"Please for everybody, more so than to donate it is so important to get yourself checked, the cancers these days can be manageable if you get yourself checked out and it is detected early enough and that's what it's all about."
