The Royal Bank of Canada Future Launch has donated $35,000 to the Tillsonburg Multi-Service Centre Youth Job Connect program.
TILLSONBURG - The Royal Bank of Canada Future Launch has donated $35,000 to the Tillsonburg Multi-Service Centre Youth Job Connect program.
The money will be used to support the the monthly "Get Connected Youth VIP Networking" events. Those events are designed to ensure that local youth and graduates of the Youth Job Connect program are receiving on going support to secure employment and reach new potentials. They connect youth in our area to local industry professionals through networking and also host a variety of guest presentations.
The Youth Job Connection program is intensive support and training for youth age 15 – 29 who are not currently working, in school, and not in training. The program offers paid pre-employment workshops, job placement and mentorship and help transitioning to further education or employment.
