A tentative agreement between Unifor Local 88 and General Motors could become official today.
OXFORD COUNTY - Workers at the CAMI Plant could be back to work tonight.
Members of Unifor Local 88 and General Motors reached a tenative agreement Friday night. A ratification meeting is set to take place in London at 10am today.
Plant Chair Mike VanBoekel expects a positive result from today's meeting.
"A believe the agreement will be passed and we will be back to work Monday night on the midnight shift."
The details behind the deal have been kept under wraps, but Plant Chair Mike VanBoekel has said it addresses job security.
