A judge has given his instructions to the jury this morning in the Michael Rafferty trial in London. Jurors were told evidence in the case will be "graphic and disturbing.'' Rafferty has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder, sexual assault causing bodily harm and kidnapping in the death of Victoria Stafford in April 2009. The Crown is expected to lay out its case against Rafferty in an opening statement. Heart FM's Blair Wilson is covering the trial and sets the scene for us. "The courtroom is packed with members of the media, and more importantly, members of Tori's family are also here on the first day." Heart FM will have reports on the case daily. However, we will be guarded in reporting on some of the more sensitive and graphic material that may come to light in the case. But for those following the case closely, we will have extended coverage of the trial on-line, in a specially created section called "Michael Rafferty Trial", you can find it by scrolling under out "Local News" tab.
