Several witnesses are testifying today to recalling a back seat of a car being put out for pick-up during Woodstock's annual spring clean-up. The residents live along Tennyson Ave. in Woodstock, where Michael Rafferty lived with his parents at the time Tori Stafford went missing. The missing back seat was the source of a public appeal following Rafferty's arrest, and his co-accused Terri-Lynne McClinitc during the spring/summer of 2009. Two former neighbours testified seeing a back seat out for a garbage pickup in mid-April. A 39-year-old woman who had a brief relationship with Rafferty testified there was a back seat in his car when she last saw him in late March. Another woman, who met Rafferty and went out with him for 2-3 weeks around April 2009 testified that he didn't have a back seat in his car, and claimed he was having bucket seats installed. A full summary of today's testimony will be posted on the Michael Rafferty Trial Page.
