Heart FM is teaming up with the Woodstock Hospital for the second annual Give Thanks to Your Hospital Radiothon.
WOODSTOCK - The second annual Give Thanks to Your Hospital Radiothon is fast approaching.
Heart FM will be broadcasting live from the Woodstock Hospital lobby on Thursday October 18th; encouraging people to call in or stop by to donate.
Senior Development Officer Jocelyn Jenner says they're hoping to raise $38,000 this year.
"All proceeds are going to be supporting our maternal child unit this year. We're going to be purchasing various pieces of equipment such as wireless fetal monitors, blanket warmers and rolling stands for some of our other equipment."
Jenner says the Radiothon was a big hit last year; raising just over $37,000.
"Last year we were able to purchase a couple of pieces of equipment for the maternal child unit such as a harness for neo-natal transport, a cardio respiratory monitor and some other vital equipment that they needed."
