The biggest single day increased today include 897 new cases in Toronto, 412 in Peel, 245 in York Region, 162 in Ottawa and 118 in Waterloo.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 2,632 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 247,564. The technical issue at Toronto Public Health has been resolved and 100 previously confirmed cases were added to totals.
Another 42 people with the virus have died, bringing the total number of deaths connected to COVID-19 in Ontario to 5,614. Meanwhile another 2,990 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 215,887.
The province completed 70,256 tests yesterday. We currently have 1,533 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 388 people in the ICU and 293 in the ICU on a ventilator.
