"We will be sitting down with the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Moore and if he gives us the green light, then let's get this Province open and start moving. I can't wait, I really can't."
The Premier hinted today that the Province could move into stage 3 earlier than expected.
Premier Ford was speaking in Bracebridge today to announcement Government funding for a new multi-service Centre.
He says nobody wants to open the Province up more than him.
"Hopefully we will get things moving as soon as possible, there is no one who wants to open this Province more than I do. We will be sitting down with the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Moore and if he gives us the green light, then let's get this Province open and start moving. I can't wait, I really can't."
Ford also told gym owners to be patient.
"We have to get those gyms open, folks, bear with us for a very short period, it is going to happen. I have to follow the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, everyone has this perception, that because I'm the Premier, I can just snap my fingers and get this done."
Ford says they work together as a team and he will continue to follow the advice of medical professionals.
