Woodstock Police aren't impressed, and neither were dozens of shoppers after a hoax at Wal-Mart. At around 6:15 last night, a call came into the store from a person claiming to be a parent that had left a child behind in the store. The caller hung up before a description could be obtained. The store was put on lockdown and police attended to help in the search for a "lost child". Shoppers were forced to stay in the store for the duration of the investigation, which didn't turn up anything. Police say the call was a hoax and are no longer investigating.
