Ontario Energy Board raising electricity prices in Ontario, starting Nov. 1st
Time-of-use customers will see the rate rise to 7.2-cents per kilowatt hours for off-peak, 10.9-cents for mid-peak and 12.9-cents for on-peak usage.
The OEB blames the increase on more power coming from renewable sources, and a higher price for natural gas. They're also factoring in variations between previous estimates and actual costs.
