Stubbe's Property Development has to meet 35 conditions before shovels can go in the ground for a new project that has been proposed.
NORWICH - The Township of Norwich could be getting a new subdivision.
Oxford County held a public meeting for the Stubbe's Property Development who want to build 38 residential homes in the north east corner of Norwich. Warden and Norwich Mayor Larry Martin says the developer has to meet several conditions before construction can begin.
"There is 35 conditions in the report that they have to comply with before they can get a permit, they will all have to be met and then we will go forward for there."
Martin says he hopes the conditions are met because it would great to see more development in Norwich.
"When the conditions are met, they can just go ahead, they go through the Township staff, unless they have a problem with some of the conditions, they could go back to the Township council if they wanted any variations to the conditions but I don't see that happening, let's hope not."
