Briefs include a teen pinning their parent to the garage while reversing and drunk passengers causing trouble on VIA Rail.
WOODSTOCK - It was a busy long weekend for the Woodstock Police who responded to 197 calls for service.
A lot of the calls involved domestic disputes, complaints about fireworks and public intoxication.
Police were also called to house on Friday night after a 17 year old teenager pinned his parent into the garage of their home. The teen was trying to reverse into the driveway and accelerated instead of braking. The parent was directing the teen and was pinned. Police and EMS were called and the parent sustained minor injuries to his legs.
Police also dealt with a call from VIA rail on Saturday afternoon about a couple of intoxicated passengers. Apparently the two drunk men were fighting on the passenger train. When police arrived they found three men in the battle. One of the men would not calm down when Police arrived and was arrested for breaching the peace.
