Includes 17 crashes in 36 hours, vandalism in Paris and trophy hunting.
PERTH COUNTY - The first snowfall of the season led to a number of collisions in Perth County.
Police say they have responded to 17 single motor vehicle collisions since the snow first fell on Saturday night. Most of the crashes were people sliding into the ditch, one vehicle rolled over and another hit a hydro pole. Another crash had a car slam slam into a road sign. Nobody was seriously injured in any of the crashes, however a few people did get hit with some minor cuts and bruises.
Police are reminding motorists that road conditions are not an excuse for collisions. Drivers need to slow down and change their driving habits as they present themselves. Winter driving requires the full attention of every motorist. Proper pre-trip planning and vehicle inspections will make for a much safer trip.
PARIS - Police have found missing man from Paris. The OPP found 47 year old William Hamilton in northern Ontario alive and well thanks to the public and media partners.
