Trudeau has asked Privy Council to look into mandatory vaccines for federal employees and federally regulated industries.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he's considering a mandatory vaccination policy for federal government workers.
During a press conference in Quebec today, Trudeau noted he's asked the Privy Council to take a look at mandatory shots for federal employees.
The Privy Council is responsible for the federal public service.
The Prime Minister also said his government is thinking about mandatory vaccinations in federally-regulated industries, such as the rail, airline and banking sectors.
This comes after U.S. President Joe Biden announced last week that all federal workers must get fully vaccinated or get tested for COVID-19 at least once a week.
Trudeau is also urging all unvaccinated Canadians to get fully immunized as soon as possible.
