People interested in plans for the Old Woodstock Hospital site will want to visit a public meeting tonight. The Hospital and MHBC Planning will be showing some concepts at the Woodstock Legion tonight. Doors open at 6:30PM, while the plans will be presented at 7:00, with a Q&A session to follow at 7:30. As for demolition of the old hospital, VP of Services for WGH Perry Lang says demolition will take a number of months. "At this point, the report indicates there's no show-stoppers. Any contaminants that were found in the building were related to asbestos and construction methods of their day." Lang says tonight's meeting will bring the public up to date, while giving the planners feedback on what the community wants in the area.
