It was a busy weekend for the Woodstock Navy Vets, the Tavistock Braves and the Thamesford Trojans.
PJHL - The Woodstock Navy Vets celebrated a win and suffered a loss over the weekend.
They beat Wellesley 4-1 on Friday but fell 2-1 to the Firebirds on Saturday. Woodstock is currently leading the PJHL Doherty Division semifinal series 2-1 and Game 4 will be taking place in New Hamburg tonight. The puck will drop at 7:30 p.m. at the Wilmot Recreation Complex.
Meanwhile, the Tavistock Braves beat the Wellesley Apple Jacks twice over the weekend with a score of 5-2 on Friday and on Saturday. The Braves are currently leading that series 3-1 and Game 4 is scheduled for tonight at the Tavistock and District Recreation Centre. That game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
It was also a busy weekend for the Thamesford Trojans in the Yeck Division. They fell to the Hawks 4-3 on Friday, beat Exeter 3-1 on Saturday and suffered a 2-0 loss yesterday. The Hawks are now leading that series 2-1 and Game 4 will be taking place tomorrow night at the Thamesford Arena Recreation Centre. The puck will drop at 7:30 p.m.
