Paris Community Pool Easing Restrictions and Expanding Capacities

More people will be able to enjoy the community pool on Laurel Street in Paris during stage 3.

PARIS - With the Province in Stage 3, the County of Brant is increasing the pool capacity at the community pool in Paris on Laurel Street.

They will also no longer have registration requirements for some swims. You can read all the changes below:

Public Swim and Family Swim

- The capacity of the pool has been increased.

- Users may drop-in (registration no longer required) starting on Monday, July 26, 2021.

- The pool will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

- Please note, physical distancing and following Covid-19 procedures are still required. As part of the COVID-19 procedures, you are required to scan a QR code prior to entry.

Lane Swim

- Users may drop-in (registration no longer required) starting on Monday, August 2, 2021. Registered swims will be honoured until August 1, 2021.

- The pool will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

- Please note, physical distancing and following Covid-19 procedures are still required. As part of the COVID-19 procedures, you are required to scan a QR code prior to entry.

Private Pool Rentals

- Starting Monday, July 26, 2021, the capacity of the pool has been increased. If you would like to increase your group’s size, please contact Facility Booking staff at 519.442.1944.

- Please note, physical distancing and following Covid-19 procedures are still required. As part of the COVID-19 procedures, you are required to scan a QR code prior to entry.

Group Lessons, Private Lessons, Aqua Fit and Aqua Zumba

- Please note, there are no changes to these programs. Programs continue to be booked online or in-person and will be delivered on the set registration days.

Laurel Street in Paris will be under construction until mid-November 2021. Users of the Paris Community Pool and Paris Lions Park are strongly encouraged to use parking in the Paris Downtown Area and access the park and/or pool via the Mechanic Street footbridge. Those accessing the parking lot at the north end of Laurel Street should expect significant delays of up to 15 minutes.
