Smaller piece of former Woodstock Hospital land sold to developer
A parcel of land at the former Woodstock Hospital site has been sold.
Rembrandt Homes has purchased the smaller 1.9-acre parcel that fronts Riddell St., the site of a former parking lot.
Rembrandt plans on building some new condo-style residences.
The land sale is valued at around $500,000 that will go towards paying off the cost of demolishing the old hospital.
That's expected to be a break-even venture.
The larger 6.5-acre parcel where the hospital used to be remains on the market for new residential development.
