Oxford County will receive over $4.6-million through the Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund and the money will be distributed amongst all the local municipalities.
WOODSTOCK - The Ontario Government has announced 2022 funding allocations under the Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund.
Locally Oxford County will be getting $4,675,900 and you can find the complete breakdown below:
- Township of East Zorra-Tavistock will receive $726,500
- Township of Zorra will receive $789,200
- Township of South-West Oxford will receive $734,300
- Township of Norwich will receive $966,700
- Township of Blandford-Blenheim will receive $605,100
- Town of Tillsonburg will receive $653,60
- Town of Ingersoll will receive $172,700
- City of Woodstock will receive $27,800
Local MPP Ernie Hardeman says this money is the province's main general assistance grant to municipalities.
"Our government recognizes the importance of the OMPF to communities across the province. I am pleased that municipalities in Oxford will continue to benefit from this important provincial program."
