The Oxford Studio Tour will feature 18 studios and 35 artists across Oxford County on Saturday April 30th and Sunday May 1st.
OXFORD COUNTY - Eighteen studios across Oxford County will open their doors to the public for the 15th annual Oxford Studio Tour.
It's always the first weekend in May, so this year's tour will be happening on Saturday April 30th and Sunday May 1st. It will feature 35 different artists specializing in photography, pottery, woodworking, jewelry and more.
Organizer Sue Goosens says the Oxford Studio Tour attracts people from across Oxford County and beyond.
"People come from all over the place! We've had people from Toronto, Windsor, Sarnia, Kitchener and Guelph. We also get people who are interested in the arts, people who are interested in promoting their local talents, families and people who just want to spend the day out. It's lovely to drive around and check out the spring flowers if we ever get there!"
Goosens says it's a free tour and you can pick and choose which studios to visit.
"It stretches from Tillsonburg and Otterville up to Drumbo and Bright. It also includes Woodstock, Ingersoll and places in-between."
All of the participating studios will have a bright red sign out front. You can find the map for the 2022 Oxford Studio Tour online here. You can also find more information on the Oxford Studio Tour Facebook page or by calling the Tillsonburg Station Arts Centre at 519-842-6151.
