10 000 dollars! That's how much money Enbridge Pipelines Incorporated donated to the Oxford OPP on Friday. Enbridge Pipelines donated the money through their Safe Community Program which provides financial support to emergency services all throughout Canada. The generous donation will go towards purchasing a new all terrain vehicle. OPP Inspector Tim Clark told Heart FM, "Officers are very excited about the new vehicle, but training will have to take place before it is used." Clark also said "The ATV's will help us if we have missing elderly or kids, we will be able to access more area more quickly." There is no word on when the ATV's will be purchased but Clark hopes to have the ATV's out and about by the spring.
