A pair of impaired drivers were caught and taken off the streets in Oxford County.
ZORRA TOWNSHIP - An impaired driver caught in Zorra Township is now facing charges.
On Thursday at 4:30 p.m., Oxford OPP responded to the scene of a single-vehicle collision on Road 88. Officers spoke with the driver, who was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash, and determined that they were under the influence. The driver sustained minor injuries from the crash.
As a result, the 43-year-old Zorra resident has been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus, and failure to comply with a probation order.
Along with the charges, the driver is facing a 90-day license suspension and a 7-day vehicle impoundment. They will appear in a Woodstock Courtroom on December 9th.

TILLSONBURG - The Oxford OPP caught an impaired driver on Broadway Road in Tillsonburg.
Officers responded to Broadway Street after reports of a possible impaired driver and located the vehicle. As a result, a 67-year-old Ingersoll man is facing a count of operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus, along with a 90-day license suspension, and a 7-day vehicle impoundment.
He will face this charge in a Woodstock Courtroom next month.
