Peter Crockett had his first day of work as Oxford's Chief Administrative Officer Monday. Crockett was hired just over a month ago with 31 years of experience. He's worked in both rural and municipal communities. A balance he thinks is well suited for Oxford. "I think what I bring is that broad perspective. Being the new guy I'm going to ask a lot of questions to gain that understanding. I think that's an important part of my education, but more importantly help to bring my skills into the county and help it prosper by going through that process," said Crockett. He says strengths are in strategic planning and capital budget management. He'll be moving to the area soon from Hamilton.
