Transitions Encompassing Wellness will be featured in an upcoming episode of Collar of Duty Kids.
EZT - A local business will be featured on the kids edition of Collar of Duty.
The show tells the stories of kids and their service animals. An upcoming episode filmed at Transitions Encompassing Wellness in East Zorra-Tavistock features a girl named Sierra and a therapy horse named Thunder.
Producer Laura Lille says Thunder helps Sierra with her anxiety during the episode.
"It was incredible to witness the bond between Sierra and Thunder and learn about how Thunder brings comfort and confidence into Sierra’s world."
Alisha Wilson, the owner of Transitions Encompassing Wellness, is happy to be part of the show.
"We are so grateful to Summerhill Media for the incredible opportunity to showcase our herd and some of the unique services we offer here at Transitions. It was an honour to be featured, and we’re especially proud of the young lady they chose to interview - she represents the heart of what we do. We’re beyond excited to see our farm and programs come to life on Collar of Duty Kids and can’t wait to share this special feature with our community."
Lille says they had a great experience filming in Oxford County.
"Alisha made us feel right at home and the horses on the farm seemed to welcome us as well. For this episode, we also had the chance to visit Woodstock Veterinary Hospital where we got to meet Dr. Rob and Marley - a senior rescue dog from Happy’s Place senior dog rescue. We can’t wait to share this incredible episode and hope to be back to film again soon in Oxford County."
The episode will debut on Accessible Media Inc (AMI+) this Monday at 8:00 p.m. and it will also air on TVOkids later this year.
