Oxford OPP were able to nab two impaired drivers on our local roads over the weekend. On Friday morning around 11 am, police were conducting a R.I.D.E. program in Innerkip when they caught a man who was three times over the legal limit. 51 year-old Pavel Stencek of Cambridge was charged with Driving a Motor Vehicle With Over the Legal Limit of Alcohol and will appear in a Woodstock court at a later date. A second man was charged Saturday morning around 6 am on the 11th Line in East Zorra Tavistock when police came across a car parked in the middle of road during dense fog. When police approached the car, they discovered the driver, 22 year-old Christopher Packer was intoxicated and blew two times over the legal limit. He was charged with Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle and Driving a Motor Vehicle With Over the Legal Limit of Alcohol. He too will appear in Woodstock court on a later date.
