Briefs include a break and enter in Simcoe, an abandoned pick up truck is found by a farmer and a 29 year old man has been charged with four counts of failure to comply with undertaking.
SIMCOE - Norfolk County OPP is investigating a break and enter at a home in Simcoe.
The incident happened on Colborne Street North on July 30th just before 1:00 am.
Police say two unknown went to the home and broke in while the homeowner was awake.
Once inside, the suspects confronted the owner and then stole a cell phone, laptop computer and a wallet containing personal and financial information.
Both of the suspects then fled from the area in an unknown direction. The investigation is ongoing and OPP are looking for the public’s assistance.

WALSINGHAM - Norfolk County OPP are investigating after learning a pickup truck was abandoned on 12th Concession Road.
Police say a farmer had found a damaged pickup truck in the middle of their corn field. The truck had been driven through the crops and it caused approximately $5,000 in damage.
According to police, the pickup truck had been stolen from the Oxford County area. It is a white, 2018 Nissan Titan pickup truck. Police are continuing to investigate and is looking for the public’s help.

SIMCOE - One person from Norfolk County is facing charges after police stopped and investigated an incident on Metcalf Street North.
The incident occurred on July 29th just before 10:00 am Police charged a 29-year-old man with four counts of failure to comply with undertaking.
He was held in custody and was scheduled to appear in a Simcoe courtroom for a bail hearing that same day.
