Briefs include the theft of special needs bicycles and an infant left alone in a vehicle while the parents were shopping.

SIMCOE - Norfolk OPP were called to the Canadian Tire in Simcoe after an infant was left alone inside a car while the parent was inside shopping.

Police got the call early Friday evening by a concerned citizen who noticed the child was left alone int he vehicle. By the time police arrived at the scene the vehicle was gone and the citizen did not write down the license plate number.

Constable Ed Sanchuk says at no point should you ever leave an infant unattended inside your vehicle for any amount of time.

"The OPP want to remind all parents or caregivers that at no time during the year should any child be left alone in a vehicle, no matter how quickly you think that errand will be. Leaving a child unattended in a vehicle goes beyond the weather conditions and the safety and well-being of a child should always be the top priority."

PERTH SOUTH - Perth County OPP are investigating after two bicycles specially designed for children with special needs were stolen from a rural home on Line 29 in Perth South.

Police say the special needs bikes were taken from a unlocked she at the home last week. An eight foot long yellow trolley type wagon was left behind by the suspect or suspects in this case.

On Friday OPP executed a search warrant at a home in Perth East and one of the bicycles were recovered and returned to it's rightful owners. The outstanding bike is an orange Berg GrantTour. It has four wheels and four plastic seats and it is steered from the back seats. The value of this bike is $3,495 dollars.

DELHI - Norfolk OPP are investigating after a scooter was stolen from a home on Talbot Road in Delhi.

Police say the scooter was taken on Friday night around 7:24.
