There is a new Executive Director in charge of Operation Sharing.
OXFORD COUNTY - Operation Sharing has seen a change at the top of the organization.
Former Executive Director Sheri Vindasius stepped away from the role for personal reasons, and the position is now held by Tim Dukes. Dukes says Operation Sharing is made possible by lots of help.
"We do have a lot of community support in Oxford County and especially in Woodstock. Tillsonburg is growing, and all of Oxford County, I would say the support is phenomenal."
Dukes stepped in as the new Executive Director on July 15th. He has big plans for the non-profit organization.
"I definitely want to support a housing first initiative. I feel that Oxford County is moving in that direction and I fully support it. I will join any team or committee to help move in that direction."
Dukes had previously served as a support worker and a shelter team leader for Operation Sharing.
