The Oxford County OPP have partnered with Mac?s Convenience Stores to reward young people for being positive in the community. It?s called Operation Freeze, part of the Positive Ticketing Program. Inspector Tim Clark says police officers will ticket youth with a Froster coupon when they are spotted showing good behavior. "We as police officers, go around the community looking for youth that are doing positive things as far as wearing bicycle helmets, picking up garbage in their community or just a police officer wanting to meet the youth." Students from Royal Roads Public School were the first to get a coupon. Jasmine enjoyed her Froster and can?t wait to get another. "I think it's really nice that the police officers are going to give us free coupons for Frosters." The OPP Positive Ticketing Program was launched in 2010 and has since given out more than 300,000 Operation Freeze and Operation Heat coupons.
