This is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for the Oxford County Animal Rescue.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford County Animal Rescue has launched its annual online Christmas auction.
Foster Coordinator Anna Holmes says it launched last week and it will close this Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
"There are 130 items up for grabs and a few of them are hot and heavy being bid on. If you would like to go see the Toronto Maple Leafs playing the Philadelphia Flyers (in Toronto) on January 5th, we've got a couple of tickets that were generously donated to us."
Holmes adds the money raised will be put to good use.
"All of the proceeds from the auction go to the animals in our care and this is our big fundraiser for the year. So we're hopeful that people will be able to find some things that they need for themselves or as gifts and support the animals as well."
You can click here to visit the Facebook page for the online auction.
Pet owners can also take their furry friend to meet and take pictures with Santa Claus at the Ingersoll Pet Valu this Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It's a $10 donation and you can choose to have your picture printed, e-mailed, or added to a USB stick if you bring one.
