Erin Miller of Arise True Yoga will lead a donation based yoga session in Norwich tonight, with the proceeds benefitting Operation Sharing's Inn and Out of the Cold.
NORWICH - Those who love a good yoga session are welcome to stop by the Norwich Arts and Cultures Centre for the OM for the Holidays Fundraiser.
Erin Miller, co-owner of Arise True Yoga in Woodstock will be leading a donation based class for all levels, with all of the proceeds benefitting Operation Sharing's Inn and Out of the Cold.
Miller says yoga is more than just a great workout.
"It's about building community and coming together! I feel really grateful and blessed that I get a nice warm house and a nice comfortable bed to sleep in and I recognize that not everyone has those luxuries."
Inn and Out of the Cold is an overnight shelter offered at St Pauls Anglican Church.
Miller is also encouraging people to bring in donations of canned goods and cleaning products.
"For every item that everyone brings there will be draws for free yoga and essential oil goodies."
It's all going to take place between 7pm to 8:30pm tonight. If you would like to reserve your spot ahead of time you can e-mail arisetrue@gmail.com or visit their Facebook Page.
