The City of Woodstock received money from OLG. It was the third-quarter payment and comes as the City hosts Gateway Casinos Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - A third-quarter payment has been made to the City of Woodstock.
OLG made the payment for the timeframe of October 1st to December 31st and it totalled $394,314.
Over the fiscal year (April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024) OLG has paid the City $1,183,197, and since Gateway Casinos Woodstock opened in June 2001, the city has received $26,461,426.
These payments to host communities are based on a formula consistently applied across all gaming sites in Ontario using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site.
Payments to host communities are part of OLG’s commitment to Ontario, which states 100 percent of OLG’s profits are reinvested in the province.
