The Oxford County Library will offer lots of free virtual programming about fairytales and animals during the March Break.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford County Library is offering lots of free virtual March Break programming this year featuring fairytales and books about animals.
Literacy and Innovation Specialist Holly Brown says the theme of the week will be tales and tails with a focus on animals and fictional characters.
"A lot of things are going to be offered virtually, we have some things on our Facebook and YouTube Channel, including a partnership with Touchstone Farms. Our staff will be going to learn some animal care and do some filming with animals at Touchstone Farms, we are going to have some reader advisories about our favourite fairytales and books about animals from our library staff, as well as some virtual story time."
They also have some registered programming through Zoom. The library will also be handing out a free hands on craft kit. Visit your local library branch to pick up a kit today and share your creations on social media by tagging @OxfordCountyLibrary or using the hashtag #OCL.
