As the provincial election comes closer, the candidates for Oxford County continue to gather votes.
OXFORD COUNTY - Another all candidates debate is being held in Oxford County.
The Oxford County Federation of Agriculture is hosting this event tomorrow at the Oxford Centre Hall. There are 4 confirmed candidates that will be attending the debate, which includes Bernia Martin of the Liberals, Peter Beimers representing the New Blue Party, Grace Harper with the Ontario Party and Khadijah Haliru running for the NDP.
Vice President of the OCFA, Davina Garner says what the goal of the night will be.
"It's basically an opportunity to meet the candidates, hear their positions on key agricultural topics and if you have any questions we are asking for those in advance."
Garner says if you are unable to attend to submit your questions, you will be able to send them to oxfordcountyag@gmail.com. Garner mentions when and where the debate is taking place.
"It's from 7 to 9 p.m. and this is being held at the Oxford Centre Hall."
The address for the Hall is 505386 Old Stage Road in Woodstock. Garner says there will be pie served after the event as well.
