Kate O'Brien secured Canada's first medal of the Paris Paralympics this morning.
PARIS - Team Canada has won its first medal at the Paralympic Games in Paris.
Kate O'Brien won the bronze medal in track cycling this morning after she finished third in the women's C-4 and C-5 500-metre time trial at the velodrome.
The 36-year-old is from Calgary and this is her second time competing in the Paralympics. She won a silver medal in her debut in Tokyo back in 2021.
