The Norwich BIA will be hosting its Nostalgia Days festival on Friday July 7th and Saturday July 8th this year.
NORWICH - July is right around the corner, which means Nostalgia Days will be here before we know it.
The annual two-day festival in Norwich will be taking place on Friday July 7th and Saturday July 8th this year.
Charlotte Campbell is the Events Coordinator for the Norwich BIA and she is the driving force behind the popular event this year.
"I think my goal was to add a bit of freshness. Just take something that is already great and already established and add some new stuff."
The festival will include familiar favourites and some new additions this year. Some of the events returning include the car show at Emily Stowe Public School, live music at the Norwich Legion, the beer garden hosted by the Norwich Merchants, the Fishing Derby hosted by the Optimist Club, and the Food Truck Festival downtown. The shuttle service will be returning as well, but it will be a wagon pulled by a tractor with Mayor Jim Palmer behind the wheel.
Vendors will have booths set up along Main Street, and Campbell says they will have a record number with 30 total this year.
"There are a ton of different items from home decor, books, clothing, all kinds of stuff! There is more than there ever has been in prior years."
Campbell says this year's festival will also include a larger Kids Zone and a Dog Show.
Nostalgia Days will run from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the Saturday. You can find more information on the Norwich BIA Facebook and Instagram pages.
