The Norwich community is rallying around 18 year old Ethan Balls who suffered life threatening injuries after a single vehicle crash on highway 59 Saturday night.
NORWICH TOWNSHIP - An 18 year old from Norwich Township is facing life threatening injuries after a crash on Highway 59 and Salford Road.
Ethan Balls was going to see his girlfriend on Saturday night around 10 when he lost control of the vehicle and ended up in the ditch. He was ejected from the car.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and the 18 year old was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
The cause of the collision is still being investigated.
Ethan's best friend Jacob Duckers has created a GoFundMe for Ethan and his family while he is in recovery. Duckers explains why he created the GoFundMe for his friend.
"I created this go fund me for my best friends family as they are going through a lot of stress, as his parents have taken work off to fight with they're son to push through this terrible disaster. I just want to show my friend that we all care and that we are all behind him through this. I wish the best for all of them and me, myself, I know I can't do this alone so I couldn’t imagine what his family is going through."
At last check the fundraiser has raised just under $2,000.
