Police arrested the 45 year old for theft under $5,000 after he stole a large amount of merchandise from Wilkinsons Independent.
DELHI - A Norfolk County man is charged after stealing from Wilkinsons Independent in Delhi.
After employees called police and reporting the crime, police arrived at the store at 11:12 a.m. The man fled on foot after employees attempted to stop him.
He left with a large amount of merchandise from the store and police patrolling the area later located the man and arrested him for theft under $5,000.
He is scheduled to appear in front of a Simcoe Court house.
