The accused came to the home and took a horse from a paddock area located on the property early Wednesday morning. She is scheduled to appear in a Simcoe courtroom at a later date.
NORFOLK COUNTY - A Norfolk County woman has been charged with theft after a horse was stolen from a home in Townsend.
Norfolk County OPP investigated the incident at approximately 9:41 a.m on Wednesday after a horse was taken from a property on Cockshutt Road.
The accused came to the home and took the horse from a paddock area located on the property in the early morning hours. The horse was later found at a residence in Haldimand County and appeared to be in good health.
Police have charged the 30 year-old with theft of under $5,000.
She is scheduled to appear in a Simcoe courtroom at a later date.
