No charges are being laid after a tractor trailer hit a hydro pole, knocking out power to more than 500 homes.
PERTH - No charges are being laid after a single vehicle crash knocked out power to more than 500 homes.
Perth OPP and local fire services were called out to Highway 23 between Line 12 and Line 16 after a tractor trailer jackknifed and hit a hydro pole yesterday.
Four heavy tows were used to remove the empty transport, and power was restored to most homes around 8:30 p.m. last night.
The driver was not hurt, but the highway was closed while crews dealt with the downed power lines.
